Power of Place

Travel comes from the French word "travail" which means to work. Preparing to depart on a trip, flying on a plane, navigating security and check in and layovers, all definitely feel like work. But when you arrive in a new place, the feeling is powerful. Each location, each mountain hike, each museum, has its own unique feeling that can be hinted at by images or words, but only truly felt by direct experience. Feel the power!
